A simple start to the application of the agrobiological system

Dear gardeners, I dedicate this article to you and, God willing, it will serve you. I have been gardening for as long as I can remember, and this is a long time – about 25 years. During this time there were many disappointments, failures, but there was always an interest in how to increase productivity and introduce new products.

About ten years ago, by God’s will, I got acquainted with the work of Yu. Slashchinin “We make fertilizer ourselves” and “100 kg of potatoes per hundred”. He became interested and decided to check on his site. Every year something new was added, and empirically proved the possibility of the theory of ABS – agriculture. The cereals that I grew according to this system were given in terms of hectares for 80-100 centners. However, it was not entirely possible to resolve the issue of introducing ABS on his site, but, thank God, he solved this problem too – not so long ago he acquired Fokin’s flat cutter and his brochure describing the types of work, where the author talks about growing products in beds one meter wide and furrows 50 centimeters.

It would seem that there is nothing new in the beds – we constantly grow vegetables on them, but in combination with ABS and a flat cutter, the bed system becomes optimal for gardening, and if we add EM technology here, then we will provide anyone with environmentally friendly vegetables.

How did I work? With the help of two cords on stakes, I divided the entire plot, and this is 15 acres, into ridges one meter wide and with passages of 50 centimeters. From the passages he dumped the soil onto the ridges. It should be noted that this is the most time-consuming work, but it is done only once during the development of the site. In the future, the beds are saved and processed with a flat cutter.

The advantage of the ridge system

Firstly, the ridges and Fokin’s flat cutter made it possible to introduce ABS in the garden and reveal its capabilities, and the essence of ABS lies in shallow tillage (by five to seven centimeters) and in the constant accumulation of organic matter in the upper layer, which creates optimal conditions for the development of soil microorganisms , which create soil fertility and its structure, which in turn ensures a high environmentally friendly yield;

secondly, it became possible to introduce crop rotation, since the ridges do not change places, to introduce green manure crops to provide the soil with organic matter;

thirdly, the soil in the bed is not trampled, since all work is done from the aisles, that is, the soil, as a result of the activity of microorganisms and worms, becomes loose – optimal for plant growth;

fourthly, the soil in the garden ripens earlier in the spring, which is important in our climate;

fifthly, the cost of caring for crops has decreased, that is, sowing is carried out by a manual seeder at the optimum row spacing for the culture, which makes it possible to work with a flat cutter in the row spacing.

Fokin flat cutter – the main tool

Here is an example: before the acquisition of Fokin’s flat cutter, the whole family – four people – served “labor service” on weeding the beds, which took a lot of time and effort. Now, on a plot of 15 acres, I do all the weeding work with a flat cutter for one hour once every three to four days (this depends on the speed of weed growth). Here, it would seem, is an absurdity – it is better to pull out a weed with a root than to cut it. But I repeat, I was convinced from my own experience that cutting weeds with a flat cutter is much more effective than weeding. Such treatments of crops are carried out until the inter-row spacing with tops closes, when the plants themselves drown out the weeds.

It should be added that processing a plot of 15 acres with a flat cutter does not cause any pain in the lower back;

sixth, the introduction of ABS makes it possible to reduce the number of irrigations, since the mechanism of air irrigation begins to operate, that is, obtaining moisture from the air. From experience, even in the most severe drought in my beds, the soil at a depth of two or three centimeters was constantly moist, such that balls could be molded from it, that is, the plants were completely provided with moisture.

All together, this makes it possible to obtain high yields of vegetables and berries without the use of mineral fertilizers at low cost, in almost any area, which is especially important now, when we are threatened by the influx of genetically modified vegetables.

Dear gardeners, I do not urge you to blindly follow my advice. For example, allocate a small area for the introduction of this technology, compare the results, and if they convince you, then the door to the wonderful world of agrobiology will open for you, where everything is subject to strict laws and where one cannot be replaced by another without affecting the result.
