Seed bubbling technology

For this process, the following tools will be required: an aquarium compressor, a glass jar up to 1 liter.

Bubbling process:

We put the seeds in water at a temperature of + 20 ° C in a ratio of 4: 1. Install and connect the aquarium compressor. The processing time depends on the specific type of crop.

You can process the seeds in another way. You also need to add a funnel, it is always available in the kitchen.

Connect the tip of the compressor to the neck of the funnel, lower the funnel into the jar. We put the seeds required for processing in a fabric bag and place it in the funnel itself, and we begin the process. This method is more effective, since oxygen will flow directly to the seeds. After bartoting, the seeds are dried in a well-ventilated room until they are free-flowing, or I start sowing immediately after the procedure. It is absolutely impossible to dry the seeds in the sun.

Seed preparation

Seed preparation begins with their germination, 2-4 days before the planned planting.

  • Soak the seed material for 10-12 hours in warm water, changing it 3-4 times.
  • The swollen grains are laid out on a damp cloth, and again covered with a damp, loose rag.
  • It is necessary to constantly maintain temperatures of 20-25. Seeds should not lie in water or be dried.
  • In this environment, the seeds are kept until the bulk of the roots have a root length of no more than 5 mm. At this point, germinated seeds will be about 40%.
  • Sprouted sprouts of 2-5 mm in size can be placed in the refrigerator in a plastic bag with a damp cloth, this will give a more even seed.

Paste preparation

In cold water, 100 ml, dilute 30 g of starch, and pour it in a thin stream into boiling water (900 ml), stirring constantly. The jar is placed in a water bath and brought to a temperature of 92, removed and cooled, stirring occasionally to avoid the formation of a film. The shelf life of the paste is not more than a day. 200 ml of carrier is sufficient for 3 g of dry seeds at 50% germination and 2 g at 70% germination.

Sowing seeds

  • Seeds are placed in a paste at room temperature just before sowing. Carefully, without damaging the roots, gently mix in this gel.
  • The seeds are in this solution for no more than 6 hours.
  • The mixture is poured into prepared, moistened grooves in a thin stream at the rate of 20 per 1 pm. It is more convenient to sow in a liquid way using a cup with a spout or a syringe.
  • Next, sprinkle the grooves with loose soil.
  • Harvest time is extended by 2-3 weeks. This method is especially effective for sowing carrots.
